What will the square at the corner of Witosa and Gołaśki streets in Kraków look like? Another workshop with residents
We are about to begin consultations with the residents of Podgórze Duchackie, aimed at developing a shared concept for the use of the area. All as part of the EU Life Pact programme – adapting the city to the needs of tomorrow.
What will change here? What do the residents of nearby neighborhoods care about? What is missing in this space? Trees, green areas, a place to relax – or maybe a rain garden?
We are waiting for You and Your ideas!
The workshop will take place tomorrow, November 29, at 5:30 PM at Primary School No. 55 named after J. Iwaszkiewicz, located at 20 Dobczycka Street.
What is the Life Pact about?
Its aim is to build local partnerships and support nature-based initiatives in the city. It is the residents of Kraków who decide on their immediate surroundings by carrying out a transformation of several Kraków plots located near residential neighborhoods.
The method of introducing more greenery and flowers into urban agglomerations has been supported by EU funding.
In the capital of Małopolska, the project began with district councilors submitting proposed locations, from which, based on analyses and local visions, the most suitable sites for revitalization were selected. Following workshops conducted with residents, final concept plans are being developed.
