The LIFE20 CCA/BE/001710 project “People-Driven: Adapting Cities for Tomorrow,” is co-financed by the European Union under the LIFE programme and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management
The task involves the development of an area of 589.7 m² on plot no. 400 in Krakow at Chełmońskiego Street and the removal of the existing concrete slab pavement together with its foundation.
The scope of the investment includes:
Construction of three free-standing multifunctional shelters with a built-up area of 6.25 m² each,
Small architectural structures, including:
two benches with backrests,
seven concrete benches,
two rubbish bins,
three bicycle racks,
information board,
four barrier posts,
two solar devices: a lantern and a monitoring system.
The project provides for the construction of paved surfaces:
a square made of 20×20 cm concrete slabs surrounded by a concrete border,
access paths made of 100×20 cm concrete slabs filled with gravel.
Additionally, the following is planned:
Building a rain garden,
Planting of 3 trees, 784 shrubs and 549 perennials,
Installation of a steel edging separating the rain garden from the flower beds,
Spreading mulch fabric and filling the space between plants.
