Nowa tężnia przy ul. Witosa. Skwer zmieni się dzięki mieszkańcom

A new graduation tower on Witosa Street. The square will change thanks to the residents

The Climate, Energy and Water Management Unit is starting the construction of a new brine graduation tower. This is an idea submitted by residents as part of the 10th edition of the participatory budget. The contractor is tasked with creating a functional and utility programme along with a land development outline. The facility is to be located in the area of Witosa, Gołaski and Marcowa Streets. According to the assumptions, the undeveloped, grass-covered area will serve as a local place for relaxation and recreation, positively influencing the health and microclimate of the neighbourhood. The contractor will also be tasked with planning the space around the facility – benches, deckchairs, lighting and new plantings. The residents' expectations are that the small architectural elements should be simple, ergonomic and functional, without fancy shapes. New spaces filled with greenery counteract the formation of heat islands, allow for natural rainwater retention and, at the same time, give residents the opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We are waiting for offers until tomorrow, 16 July 2024, 12:00 noon.
