Right by Monte Cassino Street, an innovative rain garden from the #LifePact program is being created. This initiative is so special because it has focused on resident participation from the very beginning. We have held joint meetings and workshops during which we designed this neighborhood space. At the square on Ehrenberga Street, there is currently an informal parking lot. Nature is fighting to reclaim this space—grass has grown through parts of the cracked concrete surface. An abandoned car is slowly being overgrown by plants, and wild grapevine is spreading aggressively. The Climate-Energy-Water Management unit is starting the implementation of a new brine graduation tower. This is an idea submitted by residents as part of the 10th edition of the Participatory Budget. The contractor will develop a functional and utility program along with a site development plan. The facility is to be located in the area of Witosa, Gołaski, and Marcowa streets.
